Lately, there are just too many applications in Facebook. And most of them are useless! They keep sending spam notifications and write soo many post on your wall. It starts from one of your friend allowing the application to access his account. Then usually when he/she does something with the app, the app will prompt to write on walls and send notifications to friends. And often, he / she who just lazy to read the prompt, press the OK button which results in numbers of spams on friends’ wall. I mean, seriously, who loves playing the pillow fight?

So there’s a way to block the notifications and wall posts. However, you cannot block ALL applications. You have to do it one app at a time.

Blocking Notifications

Step 1

When you receive a notification, click on the application’s name or whatever other than your friend’s name.

Step 2

You will see a prompt like this. Asking whether you want to allow the application. And here was you friend’s big stupid mistake. Click on the application’s name (marked with red in screenshot below).

Step 3

Now you are at the application’s page. On the top left, there’s an option to block the application. Click it and say goodbye.

Done!

That’s it. Do this for all annoying apps.

Blocking Wall Posts

Step 1

From your profile page, click the small application icon. (I’m not sure about the ‘block app’ option)

Step 2

Now you are at the application’s page. Block it and say goodbye!

Done!

Please, share this page with your friends. ;)
