Let’s have a cup of tea
I’m not really a fan of tea because it’s just not fancy. The color is dull and you know how we used to judge a food / drink by it’s color and look. I’m the kind of person who tend to judge things (not person) based on color.
Back to the topic. Well, not until lately I habitually go to Sobri Merais‘s room. He always (not always) make a jug of tea and we would invite Mat Jun along. We would laugh making jokes and telling stories while finishing the whole jug.
Long story short, we went to Cameron Highlands. The above images was captured at the tea shop of Cameron Bharat Plantations. The tea was awesome! On the way back, we stopped by a small shop selling a lot of stuffs. And I saw a large box of teabags, ‘Exclusively Sealed Premium Tea Bags’, and it sounds very exclusive that it should and it must be great. So i bought it for RM14 – RM1 discount = RM13. Went back to college and almost every night, i would make cameron tea. Sangat sedap!
While on the vacation, in Taiping, I bought a Starbucks tumbler just to semangat nak minum teh. Haha.
The teabag’s label. The tea is ‘floating’ on top of the hot water. Teringat Teh-C-Peng during our vacation in Sarawak.
You should drink tea too. It’s not that difficult to make tea pun. Grab an empty cup, pour in hot water, throw in 3 or 4 sachets of free sugar from McD, put in a teabag, and enjoy.
These are some benefits of drinking tea I found on the internet:
- Help protect cells from the normal, but damaging, physiological process known as “oxidative stress.” Although oxygen is vital to life, it’s also incorporated into reactive substances called free radicals. These can damage the cells in our body and have been implicated in the slow chain reaction of damage leading to heart disease and cancer.
- Help prevent blood clotting
- Help lower cholesterol levels
- Help neutralize enzymes that aid in the growth of tumors
- Help deactivate cancer promoters
- Help stimulate the immune system
